David Coleman,
Founder and Managing Director
David Coleman, Founder and Managing Director of Collaborative Strategies (CS) has been involved with groupware, collaborative technologies, and knowledge management (KM) since 1989. He is a frequent public speaker, an industry analyst, and author of books and magazine articles on electronic collaboration and knowledge management. David is on the advisory board of the upcoming CTC (collaboration technologies conference) in June in Boston, and is a principal in Collaboratory a hand-on, scenario-based collaboration experience that will be shown publicly for the first time at the CTC conference.
David was the author of a recent report on Real time Collaboration tools and trends (see: reports.collaborate.com) and is a frequent blogger on the CS site, in the Collaboration Blog, and the Technologies to Watch blog. He is the editor of Inside Collaboration, a free monthly newsletter from Collaborative Strategies and also is the author of a number of white papers on a variety of topics in collaboration that can be found (for free) at the Collaborative Strategies site at www.collaborate.com. David E. Antila

Mr. Antila is a senior product strategist and technologist with a unique blend of profitable business management, entrepreneurial, market visioning and customer interaction skills.
He is responsible for management of the technical aspects of the Collaborative Strategies Advisory Services practice. Mr. Antila is also active in our Publications area and recently authored “The Smart Suite Sweet Spot: A collaboration-centric view of Smart Enterprise Suites.”
His key strengths are:
- Depth and breadth of experience at a senior level in mature and start-up models
- Proven ability to envision, develop and take products to market, domestically and internationally
- Effective and profitable product management, marketing, risk management and growth strategies
- Superior communication and influencing skills with internal stakeholders, customers, media and analysts
- Driving results by building highly motivated, skilled and cross-functional teams
Since the 1998 acquisition of his former corporation, WorkFlow Partners, he has held leadership positions in the service delivery and research & development areas at JetForm Corporation, a business process management software company, as well as senior product strategy roles at Platform Computing, the worldwide leader in Grid and distributed computing software.
Most recently he was Director, Product Management at Platform Computing, responsible for the strategic planning for and lifecycle management of the Performance Management software portfolio. Prior positions included Director, LSF Product Management. Mr. Antila has also served on the Product Strategy group and initiated and assured implementation of the software lifecycle management process, a collaborative effort between product management and development.
Prior to that, he was the Vice President and General Manager of JetForm’s Global e-Process Business Group, and was responsible for the overall management of this business unit, which conceives, designs, builds, produces and supports the industry award-winning e-Process Framework, then rated by DataQuest as the #1 product in its market segment. This robust business process management (BPM) software system forms a key part of the integrated solution provided by JetForm to its customers. While at JetForm, Mr. Antila was a member of the Technology Integration Board, which oversees the various commitments JetForm has made to be an “easy-to-integrate-with” XML-based open architecture. Mr. Antila was an Officer of the JetForm Corporation and a member of the Executive Leadership team.
Mr. Antila also served as the Chief Software Architect for Ariel Software and as a Founder, Principal & COO of Three R Group Advertising, both based in Chicago.
David holds a bachelors degree from Kenyon College.

Bonnie Dubrow
Sales Associate
Ms. Dubrow brings to Collaborative Strategies her expertise as a creative marketing and business development strategist.
Known as The Energizer Bonnie, she is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and sales campaigns to promote the Collaborative Strategies Advisory Services. She works with prospects and does account management for many of the CS clients. She is also responsible for creating writing and speaking opportunities for team members. She also serves on various CS project teams contributing her passion for teaching communication skills, facilitating organizational change, and empowering people to optimize collaborative processes and technology.
